New York City is home to almost any food you could think of, but it's especially known for its epic desserts. A quick google search and you'll be sure to find sweets you didn't even know existed. But if you're wondering which spots will land you that perfect Instagram shot, this is the list for you.
1. Black Tap
This picture should be all you need to know why we have Black Tap as the number one most Instagram worthy dessert spot in NYC. Their over-the-top shakes aren't only picture perfect, they taste great, too.

2. Chip New York City
When it comes to cookies, there's no shortage of choices in NYC. And truthfully, there a lot of great ones. But if we had to put one above the rest, our choice is Chip.
Starting with a small shop in Astoria, Queens, Chip now has four locations, including a newly opened spot on Bleecker Street in the West Village.

3. Wowfulls
Similar to cookies, you can find great ice cream anywhere in the city. But how many places can you find fresh made waffle cones filled with delicious and unique ice cream flavors? Not too many.
What started as a booth at Smorgasburg in 2015, Wowfulls has turned into a dessert haven. Originally just a summer treat, you can now find them all year long at their Houston Street location.
One bite of their cookie dough ice cream with oreo crumbles, and you'll know exactly why Wowfulls landed at our number 3 spot.
4. Stuffed Ice Cream
Ice cream in a fresh waffle cone not good enough for you? How about ice cream stuffed between a doughnut? That's exactly what you'll find at Stuffed Ice Cream in the East Village.
Between it's crazy flavors (think Unicorn Poop) and delicious toppings, you'll never go back to eating ice cream the same again.

5. Magnolia Bakery
If you're looking for cakes, cookies, or brownies Magnolia Bakery is a solid option. But if you're looking for the most epic banana pudding you can take a picture of, it's the BEST option.
Using the same recipe since 1996, Magnolia Bakery is a must stop for banana pudding lovers. And while you can get the classic all year long, you'd be doing yourself a disservice not trying some of their flavors of the month, like their Red Velvet Banana Pudding featured above.
